OUR MISSION
As a New York Montessori School, it is Riverdale and Kingsbridge Montessori School’s mission to provide each child with all the necessary skills and confidence to grow independently. Children are encouraged to reach their full potential through teaching methods that develop the whole personality of the child—not only intellectually, but also their powers of deliberation, initiative, independent choice, and emotional development.
We offer two individualized programs for children ages two to five.
Riverdale Location

Kingsbridge Location

The overall goal of each classroom is to have the children enjoying themselves while learning at their own pace, and to begin the education process with a positive approach to learning. We aim to reach this goal by setting meaningful expectations of each child that when fulfilled will equip them with the confidence to challenge their individual capability. Those expectations are translated through a curriculum that is less prescribed and more child-centered.
